Here are the rules...
A few tips to a good duel
Be creative, don't just dodge every spell, take a few and explain in detail the effect.
Take your time. Make at least 2 or more long paragraphs about what's going on.
Access your suroundings. Don't just yell out a spell, take time to explain what you see, how you feel, that kind of stuff.
Remember the rules. Which are as follows, or at least most of them:
-You cannot decide the effect of your own spell -You cannot predict what your opponents moves are. -You can describe your enemies spell effects. -You cannot make up spells. [Please visit the HP Lexicon for a list of approved spells.] -Unforgiveables are NOT to be used unless you have permission from the site admin first. Using an unforgiveable will default the duel to your opponant without permission. -You may use up to 2 spells per turn, and once you have taken a turn you must wait for your opponant to post
Alright, also post suggestions, tips, or things you find useful in a duel here. Any questions may also be asked here, and I will answer them. If you want a fun location or a serious location, PM me and I will give you a fun spot to duel in.
Make sure you start a new topic for each duel you have. Thank you
